Virtus Consultancy’s mission is to drive client business improvement and growth through:

Sarah Witchell, Principal Consultant

Sarah Witchell

Sarah is a legal and corporate governance consultant, facilitating improved organisational structure and providing training on governance across a range of organisations. She is a solicitor by profession, with experience in both private practice and the public sector. She recently completed an MSc in Management and Corporate Governance, gaining a distinction.

Sarah also acts a company secretary in the third sector overseeing compliance and corporate secretarial functions. She is an experienced committee member and chair.


Brendan Mullan

Brendan has extensive senior management experience in the voluntary, public and private sectors, successfully leading organisations at Managing Director and Chief Executive level.

A Fellow of the Institute of Directors, he achieved distinction in the IoD Diploma in Company Direction and is a Chartered Director. He is a member of the IOD national assessment panel for the award of Chartered Director.

His academic background also includes a degree in business administration and accountancy from Queen’s University Belfast, the Irish Peace Institute Management Fellowship, and the German Marshall Fellowship to the USA.
